Fourpoint Architects are designers in the residential and commercial sectors, mainly in London and the South East of England.
The practice has operated for many years as David Wood Architects LLP but recently, to reflect the long standing membership of the firm, the name has been changed to Fourpoint Architects LLP.
There are four Members in the LLP: Michael McSweeney, Stefan Stolarski, Tonya Vanderwal and David Wood. Also, in the senior management team, are four Associates: David Hossack, Adam Neep, Magdalena Rychlik and John Woods.
The origin of Fourpoint Architects dates from 1986 when David Wood established an architectural practice which was based, at that time, in Covent Garden. Since then the firm has steadily expanded its skills and experience to design more technically demanding buildings. During this time, clear sighted thinking and technical expertise have emerged as being core values of the practice.
The firm is based in North London and has an open-plan office in a double height space, including a mezzanine level. The building itself is a sensitive conversion of a former workshop and storage building and was designed by the firm for its own use.
The firm is well resourced to serve its thriving client base in both the private and the public sectors and, has achieved a number of design awards for its work.
The client list of the firm includes national and regional developers, house builders, housing associations, registered charities, building contractors, investment trusts, family trusts and private individuals. Most clients are based in London and the South East of England.
The practice is committed to providing a high quality architectural service where client satisfaction is the primary objective. The repeat commissions the practice regularly receives are an endorsement of the firm’s commitment to provide quality in design, creativity and professionalism.
